Ruby Red Gazpacho Shots and Gazpacho Verde Shots

It makes sense that gazpacho came from a place like Andalusia as the region has plenty of hot summer days. If you decide to serve these at your next party make sure it is a hot summers day. The traditional recipe is very simple and includes very ripe tomato, onion, garlic, cucumber, salt, vinegar and stale bread. There are so many variations on this classic such as vodka, fruit (not that tomato isn’t a fruit) or serving the gazpacho in a scooped out cucumber cannons. You can serve them straight after the drinks reception and just before you start serving the next set of canapés.

We decided to skip the stale bread and serve them in these stylish shot glasses.

Enjoy!
